Wound Drainage Seminar (Industry Guest Lecturer) The Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a seminar for third-grade students on December 17th, 2023, presented by Mr. Soran Ismail, a qualified and experienced nurse at PAR Hospital. The seminar discussed the most recent developments in wound drainage procedures. The event showcased a range of innovative technologies, delivering insightful and stimulating discussions, and providing firsthand experiences on issues pivotal to our community. The keynote presenter delved into how these technological advancements could revolutionize patient care, highlighting their transformative potential.

If one’s blood levels fall due to an accident or illness or their blood is not functioning correctly, there will not be enough oxygen or other nutrients to maintain their vital organs. That’s why blood donation is encouraged, and many organizations hold campaigns around the world to promote participation. International Nurses Day On May 18, the Nursing Department held its first international Nurses Day Festival in honor of International Nurses Day on May 12. Every year, nurses all over the world celebrate this day. According to the WHO (World Health Organization), nurses make up 67% of all healthcare providers all over the world. For 2023, WHO will celebrate Nurses Day under the theme "Our Nurses, Our Future ".
