School-based Health Promotion Community- University Partnership Project
In collaboration with Ishik Brayaty International Primary School, the Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a community service project under the name of ” School-based health promotion”.
On December 5th, 2023, our students organized a poster display on the school grounds, aimed at promoting awareness and enhancing knowledge about healthy sleep hygiene, road traffic safety laws, dental hygiene, hand washing practices, and the healthy use of gadgets. The project continued on December 19th, 2023, with the distribution of brochures among the children. These brochures elaborated on the topics covered by the posters, encouraging children to take them home and discuss the information with their parents.
On behalf of the Faculty of Nursing, we would like to extend special thanks for the dedicated efforts of our second-grade students and to the support of our beloved, hard-working staff.
