Scientific Visit To Mihrabani Surgical Hospital
The Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University (TIU) organized an academic trip to Mihrabani Hospital in Erbil for second-grade students on February 7th, 2024. The trip, held under under the supervision of Ms. Hanan Azad and Ms. Shaimaa Shahab, aimed to help participants expand their knowledge and obtain a deeper grasp of the nursing clinical setting.
It’s objectives were to give students an opportunity to engage directly with patients and personnel at the medical workplace, as well as to tour the entire hospital, take in all of its services, and learn about the role that nurses play there.
Students had the chance to see hospital and patients up close and gained an understanding of nurses’ responsibilities in a clinical context as they were given a tour of the entire hospital, complete with explanations from teachers and nurses about all the equipment, procedures, and cases.
