Open Day Event for New Students
Tishk International University’s Faculty of Nursing, Nursing Department, has organised an open day event for its newly registered first-grade students on Thursday, November 16th, 2023.
The programme began with a brief and informative welcome speech by the dean of faculty, Prof. Dr. Hiwa Banna, who provided an outline of the department’s history, mission and vision, facilities, and the social and scientific activities that are held on a regular basis during the academic year. The department received international accreditation, which was also highlighted.
Aside from the necessity of earning a degree in the nursing department in terms of the wide spectrum of job opportunities available to its own graduates. Furthermore, students were taken on a campus tour to view the university’s surroundings as well as all nursing laboratories and halls.
The purpose of this event was to familiarise prospective students with the university, particularly the nursing department, and to introduce them to departmental staff members.
We are overjoyed to see our much-loved freshman students. we wish them a successful year ahead and a great academic journey!
