Faculty of Nursing – Tishk International University was honored to invite Dr. Midea Abdullah, a Pediatrician, Iraqi Board Certified & trainer in the Kurdistan Board for medical specializes as our first industry guest.
On November 3, 2025, Dr. Midea delivered an insightful seminar on (Newborn Adjustment to Extrauterine Life) for 3rd grade nursing students, The seminar explored the critical physiological and behavioral changes that occur in newborns immediately after birth, equipping students with essential knowledge and practical insights to improve neonatal care practices.
Dr. Midea’s interactive approach and real-life examples provided a deeper understanding of neonatal adaptation, fostering confidence and competence among future nurses. Finally as a faculty of nursing we extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Midea Abdullah for sharing her valuable expertise and students who participated in this session.
