In honor of International Day of Palliative and Hospice Care, the Nursing Department has organized a national seminar on 12th October 2022, for TIU family and whole society, to discuss the importance of palliative and hospice care, the differences concepts, and the areas of practice, and target patients who can utilize the mentioned care.
Shinwey Bakhtyar Radha, a master’s degree holder in medical-surgical nursing, delivered the session.
The seminar’s objective was to increase community awareness of the value of multi-professional teamwork in delivering appropriate end-of-life care to lessen suffering and severe sickness symptoms. Approximately 50 audiences were participating it in the seminar.
