In celebration of International Nurses Day 2025, a meaningful community project was successfully organized on May 22 and 25 at Sami Abdulrahman Park and the Great Bazaar. The event was carried out by students of the Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University, under the guidance and supervision of dedicated staff members.
During the event, students offered free blood pressure and blood sugar checks to the public. In addition, they provided valuable health education on chronic diseases, including advice on how to prevent conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
The project also aimed to raise awareness about the critical role of nurses in both the community and hospitals, while promoting the Faculty of Nursing at TIU to the public.
The project was organized by Mr. Goran Noori, Ms. Dilan Jamal, Ms. Marwa Saadi, Mr. Mohamed Haram, who worked closely with students to make the event a success.
This initiative reflected the university’s ongoing commitment to community health and the empowerment of future nursing professionals.
