First Aid Training Course
First aid knowledge and skills may enable everyone to make their workplace, home, and neighborhood a safer place to be. Because of this, the Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University focuses on raising community and civilian awareness about how to manage unforeseen (emergency) situations when they happen by arranging and executing a six-week first aid training course for TIU staff members and the general community from September 7 to October 12, 2022, which has been organized, coordinated, and carried out by professional Nursing personnel, from the nursing department.
The goal of the first aid course was to emphasize how crucial it is to administer quality first aid to the victim during any causality.
The course was created to address the most typical injuries that affect both adults and children, including bleeding, cardiac arrest, fractures, poisoning, and burns. Participants were also taught how to treat each of the aforementioned conditions in a safe and efficient manner in order to keep casualties, minimize complications, and preserve victims’ life.
