Faculty of Nursing Hosts Workshop on Mastering Graduation Research Projects
ERBIL, January 18, 2026 – The Nursing Department at Tishk International University (TIU) is pleased to announce an upcoming national workshop entitled “Understanding and Developing Your Nursing Graduation Research Project.” The workshop is specifically designed to support senior nursing students as they embark on their final academic milestone. Recognizing the challenges of undergraduate research, this event aims to provide students with the foundational tools, confidence, and methodology required to produce high-quality research that contributes to the nursing profession.

The workshop will feature three comprehensive sessions led by esteemed academic staff:

Introduction to Graduation Research: An overview of the research journey and expectations (Presented by Mr. Goran Noori Saleh).

Formulating a Strong Research Question: How to narrow down topics into viable, scientific questions (Presented by Prof. Dr. Norhan Zaki).

Understanding Research Methodologies: Selecting the right approach for nursing data collection and analysis (Presented by Prof. Dr. Salih A.).
The sessions will conclude with a Q&A segment, allowing students to discuss their specific project ideas and receive expert feedback.
Objectives:
The primary goal of this initiative is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical research application. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
