Enviromental Health and Safety Community University Partnership Project
On May 2 and May 10, 2023, the Nursing Department, in collaboration with Ishik Kindergarten, held a community – university partnership project under the name of” Enviromental Health and Safety Community University Partnership Project”. The project consists of two days.
On April 26, nursing students organized a seminar series in Ishik Kindergarten. focused on raising awareness and improving students’ information regarding sleep pattern, personal hygiene, road safety, respect and obedience, nutritious diet, and environmental dangers in order to enhance children’s environments, their quality of life, and their awareness of environmental concerns and engage them with the best attitude.
All the necessary topics were described and explained to the students. While presenting some gifts to the students and making the students fun and interested.
However, on the second day, May 10, in addition to the project continuing with brochure distribution that discussed environmental protection, hazard safety advice, be kind to animals, controlling bleeding, seasonal self-care, picnic behavior, and disruptions among kindergarteners in order to promote health awareness among kindergarten pupils in the environment. so, they can take the brochures home and discuss them with their parents.
Thanks to our beloved students from second grade and their support, this event was a success.
