Entrepreneurship and Career Development Skills Training Program Launched for 3rd Grade Students

On Thursday, 7th May 2026, the Faculty of Nursing successfully launched the Entrepreneurship and Career Development Skills Training Program for 3rd grade students. The program was organized and presented by dear Lect. Goran Noori Saleh,  a Certified Training of Trainers (TOT) Specialist in Career Development and Entrepreneurship.

This training program aims to enhance students’ professional competencies, practical knowledge, leadership skills, innovation, and readiness for future career opportunities. The sessions focus on developing entrepreneurial thinking, communication skills, teamwork, career planning, employability skills, and workplace preparedness for the modern healthcare sector and labor market.

The Entrepreneurship section introduces students to the fundamentals of business creation, startup development, opportunity recognition, project planning, financial literacy, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Meanwhile, the Career Development Skills section focuses on CV writing, interview techniques, professional ethics, communication skills, networking, personal development, and job search strategies.

The first day of the program witnessed active participation and strong engagement from students, reflecting their enthusiasm toward academic excellence, lifelong learning, and professional development. The upcoming training sessions will continue throughout the next weeks to further strengthen students’ knowledge, confidence, leadership abilities, and professional capabilities.

This initiative also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure by promoting inclusive education, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, innovation, employability, sustainable career development, and future workforce readiness.
