Emergency Department Protocols (3rd Industry Guest Lecturer)
As part of the latest endeavours carried out by the Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing at Tishk International University (TIU), Dr. Mustafa Abbas an expert in Internal Medicine, was invited to present a second clinical session on February 26th, 2024, designed essentially for third-grade nursing students.
He focused on improving their understanding of emergency department protocols, including key issues such as (NG tube and its installation process, managing hypoglycemia coma cases, and dealing with allergy emergencies). Dr. Mustafa’s expertise and practical mentoring provided great learning opportunities for the students, preparing them for future medical practice.
