4th Industry Guest Lecturer on Cardiovascular Diseases and Pediatric Catheterization

In continuation of the scientific activities at Tishk International University, a 4th Industry Guest Lecturer session was organized on Monday, May 11, 2026, entitled “Cardiovascular Diseases: Congenital Heart Defects and Catheterization in Children.” By Ari Ahmad Taha The lecture focused on increasing students’ understanding of congenital heart diseases in children, diagnostic methods, and modern catheterization procedures used in pediatric cardiology.

The guest lecturer presented valuable medical insights regarding the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options for congenital heart defects, in addition to explaining the importance of catheterization techniques in improving pediatric cardiac care. The session also highlighted recent developments and practical approaches in managing cardiovascular diseases among children.

The aim of this guest lecture was to provide students with practical and clinical knowledge about pediatric cardiovascular diseases and to strengthen the connection between academic learning and real medical practice within the healthcare industry.

The lecture witnessed active participation and interaction from students and attendees. Feedback was collected after the session, and the responses reflected a highly successful and beneficial activity with positive engagement from participants.
