Career or What will be career expectations with this Degree?

Nurses are lifesaver; nurses are able to coordinate the care for all aspects of a patient’s overall health. A patient experiencing chest pains, for example, might have a cardiologist, a nephrologist and an internal medicine specialist. The nurse, though, would be the care provider responsible for the patient’s full care, ensuring prescriptions do not negatively interact with one another, and that a patient understands and is prepared for treatment. When diagnostic results come in, the nurse reads them first and, if necessary, immediately notifies the appropriate doctor, and also including caring for patients, communicating with doctors, administering medicine and checking vital signs, urine catheterization, wound care. Working in a critical area including acute and chronic diseases, working with chronic conditions, such as mental retardation, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness, and critical care for brain trauma, for example RCU, CCU, and ICU. Nurses have the ability to use their skills to meet the needs of their patients, pretty much wherever they are located, urban, suburban and rural areas.  For example, many nurses now assist the elderly or disabled in their homes. Homecare management is a vital world issue.

Our graduate nurses will work in the hospitals, in both public and private hospitals, the person with Bsc in Nursing science. The demands of nursing professionality is one of the private hospitals needs in Iraqi Kurdistan region and the whole of Iraq as well.
