National blood donation workshop Nursing faculty held the national workshop under the title “Blood Donation” in November 12 2019, under the supervised Prof. Dr Kafia Mawlood (Dean) of Nursing faculty in TTishk International international University,the workshop was consisted two sessions, in first sessions Dr. Sahar Muhammad Zaki presented the seminar regarding blood components and importance of blood donation, while; in second session nursing faculty in coordination with Directorate of blood bank and 122, helped whom who wanted to donate blood, fortunately, 50 volunteers were contributed blood donations.

Our Faculty Staff including the dean, department head, staff, and students visited Qushtapa Refugees Camps on Sunday, May 5, 2019. The aim of this campaign is to giving medical advice and performing some vital singes checking to refugees families. Together with visiting the camps Hospital and performing the vital signs checking for the patients. During this visit also food, medicine, children toys, clothes, and other services were delivered to refugees.   &nbs

In this year’s Spring Festival of Culture and Science, our faculty introduced the culture of the Iranian Nation, which is one of the oldest cultures in the world. To get familiar with Iranian culture it’s most famous persons and ceremonies were introduced and explained. For example, Nowruz is known as a Persian new year, Mehregarn celebration of light, friendship, kindness, and love, etc. Also, our faculty introduced the nursing practice to visitors.    

Nursing Department in Faculty of Nursing together with other departments participated actively on three days event of Tishk International University ceremony during which the 12th-grade students from various schools in different districts of Erbil city were welcomed. The purpose of Visit Your Future was to introduce the different facilities of TIU and show the students how the staff of Tishk International University collaborates to ensure a better education for their students. During the event, the Nursing Department designed different brochures about the aim, visions, and activities of the Department. The Department also designed a gallery presenting its activities.

Tishk International University, (TIU) Built two well-organized Nursing laboratories that provided by all necessary types of equipment required for undergraduate and research students. New laboratories opening ceremony took place on February 2nd, 2019, celebrated the inauguration of two new laboratories each concerned with the Faculty’s taught Practical Courses. Nursing Department that has been working very hard to achieve project outcomes and in the process got recognized. His excellence the Minister of Higher Education and scientific research Dr. Yousif Goran was invited to this event. The faculty staff and students welcomed the visitors.
