In continuation of the academic activities at Tishk International University, the Faculty of Nursing organized a seminar on Monday, November 17, 2025, entitled “The Importance of Integrity in Our Lives.”
The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Younis Yildiz, a respected academic known for his work in professional ethics and character development.
The seminar explored the essential role of personal and professional integrity in shaping ethical behaviour, strengthening trust, and fostering a responsible academic and workplace culture. Dr. Yildiz emphasized how integrity forms the foundation of moral decision‐making, contributes to positive leadership, and influences the overall well-being of individuals and communities.
The session also included real-life examples and interactive discussions, allowing participants to reflect on how integrity can be practiced in daily life, educational environments, and professional settings.
This seminar aimed to raise awareness among students and staff about the long-term value of integrity, encourage ethical conduct within academic institutions, and highlight its importance in building a healthy, trustworthy, and productive society.
