The Faculty of Nursing – Nursing Department successfully organized an academic seminar titled “Antibiotic Resistance and Infection Control: Bridging Microbiology and Nursing Practice” on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025.
The seminar was presented by Mr. Goran Noori Saleh, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, and focused on the global challenge of antibiotic resistance. It emphasized the crucial role of nurses in infection prevention and control, highlighting how microbiology knowledge can be integrated into nursing practice to enhance patient safety and improve healthcare outcomes.
